Anna David's "You've Got Issues" Podcast: "People On Cell Phones..."

The Issues With Anna podcast features riffing on cell phone use/abuse... and I provide my own brief riff. Anna is getting at the small stuff that we sweat and letting everyone know the deeper stuff that causes the actual schvitzing... have a listen! Featuring Richard Rushfield, with additional commentary by Jeff Kober and Archer the 10 year old expert.

Journalist, author and editor Richard Rushfield is a man of many hats and even more opinions. Now the Editor-in-Chief of the entertainment site Hitfix, Rushfield has also: -Been a contributor to Vanity Fair -Is the written three books: American Idol: The Untold Story, Don’t Follow Me, I’m Lost and On Spec: A Novel of Young Hollywood -Been an editor at The LA Times, Gawker, Buzzfeed, Yahoo and more Richard, who hails from Los Angeles, is not shy about sharing his opinions—specifically when it comes to people constantly staring at their phones. He is, of course, not alone in his feelings about this (as he says, it’s less his issue and more a “public health hazard”). While he has a problem with the act in general, Richard’s sub problem of this problem is when people refuse to put their phones away while in movie theaters. With the help of our triumvirate of experts (meditation teacher Jeff Kober, Buddhist PSYD MFT Stephen Dansiger and 10-year-old LA resident Archer), we get to the bottom of Richard’s tech trauma.
